SUPER BLACK Handmade Lacquers Swatch & Review

These gorgeous indie polish from SUPER BLACK Lacquers arrived in the mail last week. It was love at first sight when I was introduced to these polishes and have only seen them on SUPER BLACK’s website but I’m please to say that they are even more beautiful in person.

Drunk Dial is a bright plum-y magenta jelly with gold, copper and red glitters. This was the one I had fallen in love with immediately, somehow all the glitter just blended so harmoniously with the base color but manage to be eye catching at the same time.

Photos below are two coats under natural light, without top coat.

Filthy Rich – Being true to it’s name, this is literally like a bottle of shattered jewels, it’s full of various shades of shine and glimmer. All the holo glitter gives off a wondrous shine under the light, the photos really doesn’t give it justice. The black glitter is what makes this polish unique for me, it gives the appearance of your nails being peppered in shards of onyx, very opulent.

Photos below are three coats under natural light. Although it’s loaded heavily with glitters of various sizes, the base itself is still clear so it takes more coats for a fuller coverage.

Make a “jelly sandwich” with your solid gold polish for a solid yet opulent look.  In the photo below I used OPI’s Goldeneye.

You can get these gorgeous 4-free handmade polishes on their website at $12 / 18ml
