OPI Avoplex Cuticle Oil To Go Review

image

Using acetone several times a week has taken a toll on my cuticles, it’s great for removing glitter polish but I definitely need to give my fingers some pampering after using it. As a former nail biter, whenever I have dry skin around my nails I’d start picking on them, and it has been pretty bad lately. During a trip to the beauty supply shop, I picked up this OPI Avoplex cuticle oil a week ago and have been using it almost every day and the results are great, no more dry cuticles!

There were many different brands of cuticle oils but this one seemed portable, and less likely to spill in my bag. I had a Burt’s Bees cuticle cream, but at least one of my fingers will be oily/sticky after applying so I wanted to find one with an applicator.

This Avoplex cuticle oil is great because it not only has a brush applicator, but the actual cuticle oil in there is gel-like, which means it stays put around your nails. Even if you accidentally apply a big glob, you wouldn’t have to worry about it being runny and drip all over the place. It also has a light fruity scent, reminds me of those fancy shampoo in salons.

Retail price is around $8, for 0.25oz
